Making Your Dream Dress a Reality
You’ve found your dress. Congratulations! The hunt is over..
Now you’ve made the momentous decision of choosing your dress, we recommend booking in your fitting straight away.
Your first fitting is booked 12 weeks in advance of your wedding, so once you are in our diary you can relax.
You can book via our website or simply call us at the studio.
Just a few details and thoughts regarding your alterations are required at this point to give us an idea of what to expect when you come for your first visit.
The Fitting Process

First Fitting
Your fitting will take approximately 30 minutes to an hour depending on what work is needed.

You are welcome to bring along up to 3 guests if that’s helpful for you.

Bring everything with you that you are planning on wearing on the day. Your shoes at this stage are essential so we can pin precisely, and your accessories if you have them already, help you to visualise your final look!
We will write down all the details of your alterations and send it to you on an email along with all the costings and your next appointment, which is booked 4/5 weeks later.

Second/Third Fitting
The majority of your alterations will have been completed at this stage and your dress is now on its way to looking exactly how you want it!
There may be some slight tweaking or minor alterations to do in which case we will book you in for a third fitting.
Depending on your dress and work you need, you may require a fourth fitting. We aim to space your 3rd/4th fits closer together ensuring that your dress is finished and looking perfect for about 4 weeks before your big day!

Collection/Storage
Your day is edging closer and your dress fits you like a dream.
Every minor detail will have been checked, fastenings strengthened and steamed perfectly ready for collection.
If you choose to store your dress with us to pick up just before your wedding then there is a small weekly charge for this service.
Pricing
We ask all our brides to budget around £180-£420 on average inclusive of VAT depending on the style of the dress and work involved.
Any bespoke additions are extra and priced at your consultation.
We offer alterations on all bridal wear including bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dresses, mother of the bride/groom and men’s tailoring.
We also offer an alteration and repair service on general clothing alterations . (No appointment necessary.)
